Independent Health’s November Scope Provider Updates has indicated that the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) requires all providers and their appropriate staff to participate in fraud, waste and abuse (FWA) training on an annual basis.
Downloadable training modules for the FWA training is available on their website at: https://www.independenthealth.com/
After logging in, click on the News menu option and select FWA Attestation. This link will provide you with the information regarding their training requirements.
