If you are participating in Medicare’s MIPS (Merit-based Incentive
Payment System) or an advanced APM (Alternative Payment Model), please let Practicefirst know what measures you’ve reported and for which years so we can monitor your Medicare payments for the proper payment adjustment. Please keep in mind that if you’re an eligible provider (EP) and you don’t report MIPS data, you could be hit with up to a 7% negative payment adjustment beginning in calendar year 2021.
IMPORTANT DEADLINE you have until 8pm EDT on April 2, 2019 to report your MIPS data for the 2018 performance year.
The results will impact your Medicare payments received during calendar year 2020.
