The National Government Service’s (NGS) recently posted their Preventive Services Guide. This tool is a great reference and reflects many preventive service topics containing coverage criteria, CPT/HCPCS coding, billing guidance and more.
To access the guides, please visit the NGS website. Click on the Education tab, then Job Aids & Manuals and under the Manuals section, locate the Preventive Service Guides. If you have not accessed the NGS website previously, you may need to log in as a guest (Part B Provider, New York) before selecting the Education tab.
