The NYS Worker's Compensation Board has announced that they will be hosting an informational webinar for Health Care Providers regarding the new Paid Family Leave Act.
The webinars are free and will provide an overview of the benefit, including what they need to know to help employees use the benefit. The webinar will also review the health care provider’s role in medical certification (including who can certify to leave and which conditions qualify), and address top questions from providers.
